Day 1: Casablanca

Third Morocco’s tourist destination, Casablanca is also the largest city in the country and its economic capital. This modern and dynamic city on the Atlantic coast is renowned for its beaches but also for its tourist sites such as the famous Hassan II mosque. We will spend the night at a hotel in Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes

Departure to Rabat, visit of the city: the Hassan Tower, the prestigious Mohamed V Mausoleum decorated with marble, gold leaves and onyx, the royal palace (outside), the kasbah and the gardens of the Oudayas. Departure for the visit of the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Then, continuation by Moulay Idriss built on two rocky peaks and amazing by its prestige of holy city. Then visit Meknes. Built on a hill, it is discovered from afar with its innumerable minarets. It reached its peak during the reign of Moulay Ismail: its monumental gates, Bab El Mansour and Bab El Khamis, El Hedim square. We will spend the night at a Hotel in Fes.

Day 3 : Fes

Cradle of a thousand-year-old monarchy, Fes contains the memory of 12 centuries of history and expresses the extreme refinement of the Hispano-Moorish culture. The spiritual and cultural center of traditional Morocco, Fes is a multiple city, unique in its splendor. The alleys of the medina are animated by the numerous souks: the tanners, the dyers or a few steps from the fountain Nejjarine, the carpenters who smell the cedar. They are also marked by places of study or prayers like the Zaouia of Moulay Idriss, considered one of the holiest of Morocco. After a dinner in the Medina, the tour continues through the picturesque alleys of the Mellah, a former Jewish quarter, then on the outskirts of the Royal Palace, ending with the extraordinary panorama of the northern fortifications . Dinner and overnight at hotel in Fes.

Day 4 : Fes – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Departure for Midelt, by a magnificent and very diversified route. You will first cross the region of the Middle Atlas passing by Immouzzer of the Kandar, Lake Ait Aoua, wonderful place of rest, then lfrane, charming ski resort in the heart of a magnificent forest of cedars where abound the streams. We will arrive into midelt where we will spend the night in a nice hotel. Afterwood we will go to Erfoud which is known for having one of the biggest oasis in the country where a date festival is held each year, it’s also the starting point of excursions into the first great dunes of the Sahara. Right after that we will drive through Rissani which for eleven centuries was the last staging post on the southern caravan route and it’s where the Alaouites first came to the Tafilalet Kasbahs. We will spend the night over in a bivouac in Merzouga.

Day 5 : Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorge

Early in the morning, in order to see the sunrise, return by camels to the hotel after breakfast departure to Rissani and Erfoud to visit the fossilized marble processing plant before continuing to Touroug and Tinjdad palm plantation, arrival at the Toudra gorges , Lunch on site, in the afternoon you will head towards the Gorges du Dadès via Boumalne and the Dades valley. We will spend the night over in a bivouac.

Day 6: Dades Gorge – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, the day will be devoted to the discovery of Ouarzazate: the Kasbah of Taourirt, Tiffoultout and the studios of cinema. Then we will take you to the UNESCO-protected Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which we will visit as well as the old village. In the afternoon departure for Marrakech by the Tichka pass and arrival around 5:30.

Day 7: Marrakech

A day dedicated to the visit of Marrakech, an ancient imperial city with magnificent architecture and enchanting souks: the Koutoubia (exterior view), the gardens of the Menara, the Majorelle garden, the palace of Bahia then the Museum of Arts and Traditions. Lunch in the medina. Continuation of the tour by a tour of the ramparts, the place Djemaa El Fna, heart of the medina of Marrakech with the charmers of snakes, storytellers, jugglers and acrobats … Then the souks district (dyers, leather and spices). Day 8: Marrakech – Essaouira

Is it easy to get around without a guide?

Do your guides and drivers speak English, French or Spanish?

Guides know many languages as well as Berber and Arabic, including French, Spanish, and English and often some German, Japanese, Italian and Dutch as well. Our drivers know English, Spanish and French.

What kind of vehicles do you use?

We use 4×4 vehicles, Toyota Land Cruisers or similar for our private tours. SUV 4×4’s have lots of room and they seat 4 and 5 average sized people quite comfortably.

What clothing is appropriate in Morocco?

You can relax and wear whatever is familiar and comfortable on the street at home. Morocco is very tolerant and welcoming to visitors, you’re not expected to act or look like a Moroccan.
